A truly memorable stay thanks to the staff
Our family of four (a couple in our 50s and two sons in their early 20s) spent six nights in a Family Signature Suite, and it was truly one of those stays that leaves you feeling grateful you chose both the destination and the resort. What impressed us most was the people. Whether at the front desk, restaurants, room service, spa, transportation service, or pool bar, every staff member greeted us with a genuine smile. Nothing felt scripted or forced. There was a warmth and positivity throughout the resort, and it was obvious that the staff genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. Being surrounded by such kind, energetic young people somehow lifted our own spirits as well. The resort has a special energy that is difficult to describe but impossible to miss. The spa also exceeded our expectations. All four of us enjoyed the coffee scrub treatment, which left our skin feeling incredibly refreshed, and the massage therapists were highly skilled. To be honest, we expected a pleasant but fairly standard remote-resort spa experience, and we were pleasantly surprised by how exceptional it was.
I will be posting several photos of the staff members’ smiles as part of this review (all shared with their permission). That is how strongly they impacted our experience. The beautiful ocean views and wonderful facilities are certainly part of what makes this resort special, but in our opinion, its greatest asset is its people.

Don't go Maldives come here
Our stay at Katamaran Hotel and Resort Komodo was truly unforgettable — it honestly felt like “the Maldives in Labuan Bajo.” This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime visit to a hidden gem of Indonesia. The overwater bungalow was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views, a very spacious bathroom and toilet area, and an incredibly comfortable bed that made our anniversary trip extra special. The resort thoughtfully surprised us with a delicious afternoon tea and an amazing floating breakfast experience, which made our celebration even more memorable.
What impressed us most, however, was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Every team member greeted us courteously with genuine smiles and was always ready to help with anything we needed.

Spectacular view, wonderful breakfast, spacious & clean rooms
Katamaran boasts a spectacular view of the Flores sea (visible from the vast & airy hotel lobby, breakfast area, pool & room balconies)
wonderful breakfast with nice coffee and fresh juices, spacious and clean rooms that were thoughtfully designed (there’s a partition that you could open up to admire the sea view while you’re brushing your teeth), comfortable beds, a multitude of activities (yoga, boxing, evening open-air karaoke, etc.) and very friendly & helpful staff.

Celebrating Valentine❤️
An unforgettable experience when my husband and I stayed in one of the most famous hotels in Labuanbajo, Katamaran Resort & Komodo. We were celebrating Valentine's Day there and the staff was very friendly. From our check in to check out their service is very Exceellent And also thank you to Team fbs for delivering our Floating Breakfast to our room until our breakfast was very effective

Beautiful hotel and excellent staff
The location was beautiful, the hotel was very modern and well designed. The rooms were spacious and clean and the food was really good. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options. But most importantly, the staff was incredibly kind and willing to help. My daughter got sick and they helped us to get the medicine she needed (they called different hospitals and even picked the medicine up for us). Stanley was an amazing driver and Agnes and Efin did an excellent job in the reception. All the staff was very attentive and even brought breakfast to the room form the buffet when my daughter did not feel well. It was the best hotel of our trip and I really recommend staying there.
Breakfasts are varied and delicious, buffet, fresh fruit, smoothies, salmon, desserts, pastries, on request will prepare eggs in any format: omelet/benedict/eggs, there is a separate counter where waffles are prepared.
The staff are very attentive and alert, We misplaced our reservation, paid for the Catamaran Hotel on Lombok, came here and were shocked that our reservation was not found here. The girls helped us contact the Lombok hotel, and helped us refund the mistaken reservation, even though the reservation was non-refundable for cancellation. Any request here is answered with a smile, always ready to help. It’s a truly welcoming place.
The interior is exquisite, very beautiful decoration. There are two nice swimming pools, with a comfortable relaxation area. Views from the rooms are stunning, you can watch a beautiful sunset in the evening.
I recommend staying in this hotel, the rare occasion when fine everything and flaws we have not noticed

The best holiday
Wonderful hotel, brand new. Here are very comfortable rooms, which are thought out everything to the smallest things, from lighting, bed like a cloud, having good makeup.
Breakfasts are varied and delicious, buffet, fresh fruit, smoothies, salmon, desserts, pastries, on request will prepare eggs in any format: omelet/benedict/eggs, there is a separate counter where waffles are prepared.
